enjoyed it much...

It's tiring yet fulfilling. Maski 3days n wala masyadong pahinga, I still full of energy to walk from Divisoria to Binondo, Sta. Cruz, Post Office and final destination... Manila Zoo.

I've tried walking alone along Morionnes distributing treats for children several years ago but never felt the fulfillment sharing the blessings with those who share hobbys with me.

Til next year guys... sana makapag-organized ng mas malaking photowalk nxt year with same objective.

Some of participants suggested that we will just collect atleast Php 100 pesos for the treat to have a standard "loot" treats for kids.

Una akong beses na pumunta s Boso-Boso Antipolo, nung 2nd year college. During that time, meron na akong nakikitang mga developers na nagpapatag ng bundok upang gawing memorial parks. Usad p ng konti ang sasakyan, makikita ang mga bundok na may tapyas, gawa ng mga minahan ng marmol at adobe. Abuso na ang bundok ng Rizal. Ilang taon lng ang lumipas, pinapatag naman ang mga bundok para gawing relocation site ng mga pamilyang pinalayas s gilid ng tren at ilog sa boung metro manila.

Hangang kelan kaya magpapatuloy ang ganitong scenario sa aming bayan? Ilang bundok pa ba ang kailangan sirain ng mga gahamang pamunuan ng gobyerno? Sana ito na ang huli. Sinasabi nila malakas ang bagyo kaya nagkarong ng landslide? I think they should also know and understand the balance in our eco system. We are a typhoon prone country, sa aking pagkakaintindi sa aking science class nung elementary ako, ang pangunahing layunin ng mga bundok at bulubundukin at para protektahan ang mga mas mababang lugar laban sa malalakas na bagyo. Bakit sa panahon ngayon, pag malakas na ang ulan, kailangan mo nang lumikas kung sa paanan ka ng bundok nakatira?

Nais ko lamang po sana ipahatid ang aking nadarama sa hagupit na dinanas ng aking mga kababayan sa paligid ng Antipolo.

We are planning to stage out an exhibit for our work. Initial plan was to have it during Christmas, but it's too late now.

Detail for the modelshoot on Sunday sept 13, 2009

There will be a contribution fee of PHP 200 per photographer (We also accept donations if you want to contribute more... hahahah). This will cover our merienda, simple token for the model / models and miscellaneous expense.

Rules:
1. Since this is an ex-deal shoot, we will give the model a soft copy of our work (saved on a disc or you can email it to me and I will compile it for the model).

2. Day after the shoot (14Sept), you need to pass your best photo (models). This will be used for the token that we will give our model(s) (8R or 10R framed picture, which ever will fit our budget). This will undergo voting so please submit it right away...

3. Bawal ang pasaway! We are going there at our own risk.

huwaaaa... i really hate what im feeling right now...

When i was still in Saudi Arabia, during this time, i am missing the rain shower, the flood, the thunder storms. I even tune in to news about the rain showers here in manila and enjoy my cups of coffee...

Now, i'm here in manila, should I enjoy the rain? why am i feeling sad... wishing that the rain stops NOW... as in now... I want some rain but not this much... I want some flood but not up to waist and cause traffic... I want some thunder storm but no the whole week.... huwaaaaaaa....

Thursday when I planned to go for PNR shoot. A friend texted me that she has a model who can join us for the shoot. I told my friend to bring her , as that would be a great venue for a shoot, inside PNR train.

Friday afternoon, when I had a conference chat with the model and my friend. This model confirmed that she will be coming if my friend is coming. My friend came back all the way from Baguio early morning of Sunday to meet this unprofessional model and join us for the shoot.

Well, as I expect, the model did not show up. This unprofessional model texted my friend "OH NO SIS, PARANG MAY PROBLEM. MY MOM ASKED ME KC WHERE AKO PUNTA, SBI KO GROUP SHOOT. EH SHE ASKED ME KUNG MAY TF. SABI KO WALA. KC WALA NAMAN TALAGA D B. SABI NYA WAG DAW AKO PUNTA. BAT DAW WALA TF MADAMI PHOTOG. KC GAGASTOS LANG AKO, MAPAPAGOD PA, KAYA D NA LNG AKO TULOY."

Hindi ko na sana ipost ang blog na e2, But it happened the 2nd time. Kahapon, she told us na pupunta xa at kikitain kmi s intramuros. Pauwi na kmi she told us that she's on her way. So we waited in front of the post office. While waiting, she texted us na on the way na xa and she's in Chinese General na. After about 30-45 minutes we decided to go home. My friend received another text na nasa Manila Cathedral na xa... She knows we're in Post office, sa Cathedral xa nag punta. and mind you, I'm also from Blumentritt and I know the traffic and travel time from Chinese General to Manila Cathedral... Ano ka ineng? I went to MONA this morning...

I was invited by a friend to join the SONA rally today. But prior to my commitment to join her, I already had an schedule for a model shoot with our photographer friends yesterday.

Whoa!! that was very exhausting!!! we had our shoot from 3pm to pass midnight. I really enjoyed it, come on... mga baliw ba nman mga kasama ko sa shoot, tlga mag-enjoy kmi, full of energy. Then, may baon akong lechon, so some of us decided still to go to chat's place to take our dinner. Inabot na yata kmi ng almost 3am chatting and eating... I am still decided to go to the SONA, i even told my dad to wake me up at 7am, to join the rally. Pero d na kinaya ng powers ko... ubos ang aking energy, nilabas lahat s pawis kahapon. Maski ginigising ako ng tatay ko, hnd n me magising sa sobrang pagod... I woke up at 11 am...

I was invited by a photographer friend sa Purple search. Very much excited pa nman about the that. Last not I am not feeling well, and I get a clinic pass para makapag pahinga... I think I missed the air conditioned room. Nag-hybernate ako... huwaaa.. I was supposed to have only an hour sleep.

Hindi pa nga ako magigising kung hnd ako tinext ng kasama ko s purple hunt... I want to go still pero teka lng... ituloy ko muna hybernation ko... sama pa rin pakiramdam ko. Palagay ko na-rape ako s sleeping quarter, kanina pa me naduduwal... I think Im preggy...

Marking my 200th Friend...

Kahapon, approved ko ang ika-200 kong friend dito sa multiply. April Marin, I fondly call her Eyfril. Ayoko man isipin na xa, pro wala ako magawa, xa ang huling invite ko kahapon... ahahahhah

I started multiplying about a year ago, it was June after hearing it from TFC (The Filipino channel) still remember the tag line of my ultimate crush Bianca Gonzales "Close tyo s TFC connect" at nag send p me ng photo for the father's day celebration and was featured on TFC.

I really enjoy this site at kinalimutan na ang friendster. My first post was a blog about how Arab entreprenuer & businessman give importance to filipino workers and some old photos i have from my friendster account. Wala pa akong hilig s potograpiya noon...

That was also the same time na I & my ex-gf is planning to get wed once I arrive home. So, search ako ng possible photographer and a friend introduced me to her wedding coverage churvanes (multiply ang portfolio). Nakita ko ang DPP and started having photographers friend and na-excite ako bumili ng sarili kong camera.

Mga una s friends list ko yung mga nagli-leave ng multiply link s TFC connect (already forgot most of them.. hahaha). Then, knowing some of photographers from DPP and other site. Lalo ako na-excite sa potograpiya... Malapit na rin kmi mag-aniversary ni Bactol (name of my cam)... yehey!!!

Pay it forward refers to repaying the good deeds one has received by doing good things for other unrelated people.

The “pay it forward” concept was popularized with the book Pay It Forward by Catherine Ryan Hyde, which was later made into a movie with the same title.

The idea that you are giving back after having received is wonderful. The fact that it is to three other people is a great reminder that it is better to give than receive.

Accordingly, practicing the “Pay it Forward” principle will make you alert to unexpected kindness from strangers toward you, and you may find yourself becoming more grateful for everyday kindness and consideration from people you don’t even know.

But here’s one unique way to start the principle. A young professional distributes ballers bearing the “Pay it Forward” phrase to encourage those who will receive it to do good deeds and be thankful that there is someone who will be willing to extend help even in simple ways to make a positive difference and could change the world. The gesture made is very timely in observance of the Lenten Season.

John Carpio, fondly called by friends as RJ gave ‘Pay it Forward’ ballers with a concept that those who have it must pass it over to another person who did something nice to him/her instead of saying thank you!

It is a reminder that everyone must not feel obligated to help others because a simple act of kindness was received; but rather, creating a social responsibility and a desire to help others in recognition of the help one has received.

Weekend Inuman Galore

Saturday afternoon, I met someone from San Beda. After a short talk, I sent SMS to a college friend who happens to live within the vicinity. She invited me to come over for a short talk or should I say, I invited myself to go to their place. She was still accommodating and offered me some soda. She even asked if I would like to drink some bottles of beer but I decided not and to just have a short talk and leave after some time.

As soon as I arrived home, I called another friend and invited him to come over my place since I got really bored. We went to another friend to kidnap him... hahaha... We drank the whole night. Cesar told me that They were able to make it to Dragon Boat semi-finals and have to be in Bay walk before 7am. I told him I wanted to go to have some shoot. and so we go around 7:30am good thing the competition just started and his team was already aboard.

After the competition, there was a "defeat" party... hahaha kidding aside, they still celebrate the game as those who compete for the team was all new comer and for most of them, it was the first time to paddle for a competition. They also invited me to join and so I signed the waiver that I will be attending the training...

whoah!!! Got a sport to do now... hahahahha... first time ko mag-sport.... yeah... dragon boat pa... I don't know how to swim... goodluck...

What is a man without me? - GOD

This past days been thinking what are the things I have to done to make my relationship with "my God" flourish...

Since I arrived Manila, I've never been to church for mass. I usually pass by churches during my of town photo tours to take pictures. But hearing the mass, I attended once but not the whole.

Exactly 60 days today but I only shared my grace once while buying for my merienda and a boy approach me for some money. I gave him a part of my food instead. Maybe, I forgot, I'm not in KSA anymore. I never gave alms to KSA beggars. yes you heard it right. There are also beggars in KSA. Sosy beggars I may say. Women have their Gucci or Louis Vuitton bags with a lot of gold earring and necklace, bracelets and some even have anklets ( now tell me, will you give alms to those whom you think is richer than you?).

Fasting, hmmmm... for few days now I'm having my fasting... I only drink water while in office... Is this because I wanted to do so? or just because i have no money to spend during breaks??? oh well... whatever the reason is. I know it's still not counted. since I still smoke and eat streetfoods after...

Am I not unfair to "my" God?

Though I haven't done anything good for Him these days, he is still there to remind me that without Him I am nothing...

Though I am much pre-occupied with the world, He still reminds me that there is still something special in store for me in His world...

Lumalaki ang Pamilya namin...

Around 8pm last night, I saw our cat Mimi with something hanging on her butt. I tought my brother played with her again. To my surprise, she is already in labor.

Nakakatuwa, first time ko makakita ng pusang nanganganak... Kasi ang dati naming pusa, nagtatago kung saan pwede magtago. But Mimi is really different. Sa harap ko nanganak... ahahhaha...

Medyo napuyat me kasi natapos xa manganak ng almost 12mn.

She has 3 gold orange and 1 tri-color kittens... They are so cute. I want to keep them all but we need to send them for adoption...

Kittens now open for adoption... Pics will be posted as soon as I get home this afternoon...

Mt. Samat during the Holy Week.

It's final... I will be going to Bataan during the Holy Week. those who wants to join, please freely comment on this post.

I am much preoccupied of what will be my activity during the holy week. I planned first to have a walk from Robinson's Galleria to Antipolo Church as the usual thing I am doing before I left for Saudi Arabia. But thought twice about it as I also want to document my holy week and it will be in the evening and lights will be my problem.

I was also invited to go Mt. Mayon in Bicol as my officemate leaves at the foot of Mayon. But I still want to go somewhere where I can also praise God in a serene and nice place. Mt. Mayon would be nice but there is still something that I am looking for a place...

Here, Mt. Samat came across my mind. I invited my travel companion. he said he's planning to visit the natives of Banawe and stay there for a week. I am tempted to join him, and even asked him lets finalize where would we go...

Holy Wednesday: late afternoon motorbike going to Orani Bataan where we will be staying in my aunt's house.

Maudy Thursday: morning, Bus station to meet those who plans to join us.
Check in at the Hotel
Photowalk in Orani Bataan (Plaza, Churches, etc)
Early lights off or travel to Mt. Samat for overnight stay.

Good Friday : Mt. Samat for the whole day photo session (planning to invite model with us)

Black Saturday: Corregidor Escapade

Easter Sunday: Back to Manila


Haist... This will be a nice Holy Week escapade for sure...

Pero ano ba ang dapat kong i-cancel??? I'm getting confused now... huwaaaa....

Last month a friend invited me for hiking in Laguna. We will be leaving on Saturday na pala. She just texted me early this morning to confirm if I wil be going with them. That would be for 2 days. Coming back to Manila Sunday, no time yet.

My cousin also invited me to go to our house in Antipolo on Saturday to celebrate my God-child's birthday. I also commited myself that I will be coming and her sister even sent me PM yestrerday confirming that I will be going with them.

Just the other day, Mian invited me to go for a photowalk on sunday with One Asean group I dunno if this would be together with the BULLET in Norzagaray...

Another friend who is a member of a Rowing team is inviting me to their tournament on Saturday in Subic and asked me if I want to join them and take their pics... I wanted to go as it is a good opportunity na kunin nila ako as their official photographer.

This morning also, another group wants to have a shoot in Baseco and asking me if I can go with them. Fortunately, I already know na meron n meng mga appointments so I asked them to have it next week...

Now I'm confuse... Saan ako pupunta???

I'm very eager to go hiking... but I have to cancel all my appointments just to be with them for 2 days...

I want to go to subic for the Rowing competition. It is really a great chance to travel as they will be competing in Australia next month.

I wanted to attend my other appointments too... Masaya lahat yun...

Experience was nice. First time ko mag studio / model shoot but I enjoyed it a lot. Too bad, my cam setting does not fit Canon / Nikon setting. Have to set my Aperture to 3.5 - 5f shutter speed 1/6, sometime 1/5 just to have a clearer picture.

Overall experience is really memorable. Meeting Sachi would be the best part of this experience. She was really nice and accommodating. Though I don't ask her mush to give a good post, she really does. Yun nga lang as earlier mentioned, hnd masyado maganda yung iba kong shots due to the shutter speed... grrrr... asar...







During change of outfit, we had our group shots.









Going back to the experience. Though the studio was fully airconditioned, I can't help myself but to wipe my sweat out. Sachi is really freaking hot... grrrrrr... She poses nice on every sets and really give her best...

Can't wait to work with you again soon Sachi...

Mongoloid daw...

Yesterday morning, I got really upset. My dad told me that our idiot neighbor called my brother "mongoloid".

Yup we must admit, my brother is a special child. Classified to have Learning Disability (LD) or slow learner due to his series of head operations. But calling him mongoloid is not fair.

My brother got really hurt with that until now. I wanted to talk to our idiot neighbor but my dad told me that he's going to talk first with the mother inlaw of that crazy man...

Is our neighbor educated??? I may say yes, he is my schoolmate in high school but he's just paying her instructors to get a passing grades. I don't know during college...

Now tell me, who's more normal? My brother who can read and talk freely to anyone and known anywhere in Tondo because of his friendlynes? or our neighbor who happend to be an educated man but seems to have no breeding??? My pets are more educated than him I think...

My cat knows how to do massage...

My dog knows shake hand...

My pig... yeah forget it... maybe he's more like my pigs... Lamon lng ng lamon...

Target before the end of the year...

I want to put up a photo studio business here in our place. Market is good. I'm in the center of 4schools. I remember when I was still in highshool. I also love having a photo shoot. I have to go to Navotas or Juan Luna / Gagalangin to have my photos shot. High school students enjoyed it having a photo shoot.

March time, graduation time and other occasions in school needs a photographers. I can make a good market as I will have the most accessible photo studio in my area.

ID pictures, some computer shops already offered ID pictures but a bit expensive. I had my photo taken 3pcs 1x1 photo for 20php. I have to pose for myself, they will just take the pic, not even telling if you're slouching or you look like having a hunchback. They will kust take the pic as is.

Good premonition to start up my own business:

1. I've got Euphorbia (I don't know if that's the name of that plant, basta matinik xa na namumulaklak). I have it for morethan 3 years but never had even a single flower. As soon as I thought of putting up a business, Four of my plants bear good flowers...

2. As soon as I got the message of Raffy the other day that my pics will be posted on Picture Perfect. That same time my pig delivered her 7 healthy piglets.

3. My dog, whom I thought to be barren, just had a "heat"...

4. My cat is also pregnant and will deliver her kitten any time this week...


What's the connection of pergnancy to putting up business??? Wala lng...gusto ko lng majustify na tama ang gusto kong gawin... ahahhahahaha... kc sabi nila pregnant women brings goodluck...

As I woke up yesterday noontime, I checked my phone for messages. Got a message from Mian asking if I want to watch Eraserheads concert. Got really excited about it. I jumped off my bed and immediately went to SM San Lazaro to buy CF card reader to transfer the photos from my cam.

I arrived MOA at around 4pm and met Joeffey in front of Pizza Hut as it is where Mian told us where she will meet us. We were told by Joef that SLR cam are not allowed at the concert venue, so we decided to leave our cams in Mian's car.

We entered the concert venue at 7:30pm. Got a bit upset as I've seen some with their SLR & LOMO cam at the venue. Program started late. Everyone was really energetic... I enjoyed the program especially when Marcus had his reggae version of "Wag mo nang Itanong" ahhaha... that was really cool...

Accident Prone means One...

I had a great fun in Aurora. February 17 4:00am when we left Manila, a perfect schedule to leave as we will be traveling by motorbike.

About an hour and a half trailing an "off-road" highway. They said that it was a highway as all bus passes that way but it was terribly rough all through out. Passing a U-turn sloping rough road, I fell from my bike, I almost fell on the cliff. Thank God He saved me. If I move a little more inch, Goodbye world for me.

Moving on, as we are nearing Aurora proper, I take off my jacket and sit on it. Not knowing that my motorcycle is hungry that time, It accidentally go onto the wheels and rolled over it. Again, i almost die, good thing that the truck next to me stopped on the store about 5 meters away from where I almost fell.

God is really good. He saved me twice on our journey.


ooopsss, wait, there is more. The next day, 18February, we went to SMB night beside Bay's Inn. There was a low pressure that time that the program started late. Some of our companion already wants to go home. We brought them home and come back to the concert site. It already started featuring the local bands of Aurora. We park our car in a vacant lot about 10 meters aways from the site. It was really dark and I forgot my eyeglasses. Not knowing that their lot was 6feet above the sand area. I fell again... Grrrrrr.... It was terrible... but I enjoyed it a lot...

If I have to encounter these expereince again in going to Aurora Province, I would do so. Aurora Province was really a haven of good sceneries and i wanted to go back no matter what it will cost me.

Baler, Aurora here I come...

The other day, I chatted with a long time friend. She is now based in Baler, Aurora after she resigned from her work in Dubai, UAE.

At long last, our plan to go to their place is now at hand. I will be traveling with a friend / travel companion at 3am. So to make it to Baler at around 9am. What are the last minute reminder of my friend? hmm... a lot. most important are the IDs. bring as much as possible and expect around 4 checkpoints and all things will be searched by the Military. According to her, there was an encounter last week leaving about 20soldiers dead. Scary? hmmm... a little but excited.

It is Baler's 80th foundation week so we can expect more than what we planned ahead. There would be a Street Dancing competition this afternoon and Coronation for Ms. Baler tonight. Tomorrow would be the San Miguel's night with Brownman Revival on stage. Excited to hear Reggae song on stage again... yes... and Fireworks display. Thursday will be the last day of their foundation week and still don't know what to expect.

A lot of side tripping during our stay. This would include meeting a group of photographers in Baler during the weekend to do camping and surfing... (surfing daw? ang talaba magsurf... ahhahaha... hnd marunong mag-swimming)

Exciting... yeeeesssss... hoping for a safe trip...

Im now enjoying time with my bro... Laast night we had dinner in Souq churva (limot ko name ng resto) bit expensive but food is well... First time ko rin to try shisha enjoy ako parang ayaw ko na ibuga, sarap ng apple flavore eh... hahahha


This morning, I'm with my bro's friend, Dave, having coffee at Columbia Cafe and later will be going to the nearest mall.. yung walking distance,or sa museum nila...

tomorrow we already have an engagement with their friends here in Qatar... enjoying my stay, but it's a bit expensive than in KSA...

Haist... my journey here is almost over... in few hours, i will be travelling to see my brother in Qatar for several days before going home. Quite excited travelling again. I think this is the most awaited time of all expat; meeting family and be home.

Yesterday, I bid my farewell to our sub-contractor, The bigboss, sir Bernie ask me to come over for dinner and have a small celebration. Since I am not familiar with the place, I go with our janitor who works for the said company. I enjoyed it a lot and got drunk (I think almost all of us got drunk really)...

Ok, let's have a little rewind... After talking to Sir Bernie, earlier afternoon before taking my lunch. Our Filipina teagirl called me just to make my day bad. Just imagine telling me that I don't know how to mingle with others... Oh my... I told her, I know to whom and to when I should mingle. Why am I going to mingle with the persons who in the first place upon my arrival 2years ago welcomed me with chismis (gossips)?

Enough for that... and so let's continue, after the bad tripan, I went to Balad (City center) to buy some stuff my brother in Qatar asked me to. I felt easy this time... away from the that witch... hahahhaa

Party time, we had a good night. I enjoyed it a lot... partying with real people gives me good vibes. We had our drinks until 12midnight as they still have work early morning. I'll post some pics of our happenings once I arrived Qatar... Another engagement, I need to go to Cavite / GMA area on the second week February. Huwaaaa, i don't know where GMA is, but I am quite sure that I'll have a good time then... I will... really... ahahhaha

I don't have plan of going to office this morning, but some colleagues requested me to come. They said they prepared some thing I could treasure. Hmmmm... let me guess... a new phone? hahahha... my officemate/housemate already revealed. It's a new phone... Just puzzling me what unit would that be... an E66 as my housemate knows that I liked it most? Samsung latest unit as our office is situated inside Samsung Bldg and they could have really a good discount? or 3310? hahahha... I'll give you update once I get to Qatar tonight...

2days without TV

Oh God, spare me...

2days ago, I packed my tv set and asked LBC to pick it up with my things for sea freight courier. Oh my... am getting really bored. this was the first time I felt this way.

I already experienced a no tv policy during my seminary years, but this one is different. Though we have limited time watching TV in the seminary, there are lots of things to do... chat with co-seminarians, short conversation with our cook and laundry ladies, cleaning the seminary, cooking as well. Here, trying to save money, I can't cook. Going out mean to spend another 100 bucks which I was supposed saving for my 5days stay in Qatar and 1month stay in manila (including the processing of my papers.)

I got lazy going to work today. No TV, lazy of typing and chatting using my computer. I slept the whole day (not to mention sleeping with Mary... hahahha).

2days down, 7days to go... wish me luck pal... hoping not to go insane...

Lord who is the creator of all children, hear our prayer this accursed day. God whom we call Blessed, turn your face to these, the children of Gaza, that they may know your blessings, and your shelter, that they may know light and warmth, where there is now only blackness and smoke, and a cold which cuts and clenches the skin.

Almighty who makes exceptions, which we call miracles, make an exception of the children of Gaza. Shield them from us and from their own. Spare them. Heal them. Let them stand in safety. Deliver them from hunger and horror and fury and grief. Deliver them from us, and from their own.
